March 2, 2021

On March 2nd, 2021 at 1852hrs, Caroline transmitted the vehicle fire in the 20000 block of Mattaponi Trl. Initial information reported a single vehicle in the roadway, fully involved. Upon the arrival of Medic 1, they confirmed the information and advised the Engine to take position for the fire attack. Moments later, command advised of water on the fire, and also requested an additional Medic for a patient that was located at the scene. Brush 1 arrived on the scene and assisted with the fire attack and cleanup. Due to the high call volume in the county, the additional medic unit was not available and the request was canceled. Units operated on scene until the vehicle was removed by the tow truck. The single patient was treated and released by the on scene medic unit.

Units: Engine 1; Brush 1; Medic 1
